Engine room

Access to the fuel filters, oil filters and belts is good for a boat this size. The engine room also houses the battery banks and switches, Magnum inverter/charger, fuel manifold and transfer panel, generator raw-water plumbing and the water heater.

Owner maintenance checklist

  • Check oil and coolant before every start; check transmission fluid on the dipstick.
  • Inspect raw-water pump, heat exchangers and hose clamps for weeping ("blooming").
  • Drain Racor bowls; carry spare elements.
  • Keep the bilge clean and oil-free before running bilge pumps.
  • Replace zincs at 50% wasted.
