- Banks: starting batteries for the engines and a house bank for lights, pumps and electronics — full set of new batteries
- Switching: five Guest rotary battery switches plus a parallel switch in the engine room.
- Charging: three engine-mounted alternators, Phase Three 40/60 charger, and the Magnum Energy MM1212 inverter/charger.
- Distribution: 12 V panel with magnetic breakers, voltmeter and labeled circuits.
AC system (120 V)
- Shore power: dual 30 A inlets, starboard midships.
- Generator: Westerbeke 8 kW feeds the same panel via the source selector.
- Panel: double-pole mains, single-pole branch breakers, analog voltmeter, reverse-polarity light.
- Inverter: runs selected AC loads from the batteries when off-grid.
- Outlets: GFCI-protected 120 V outlets throughout, including the forward cabin.
Safety upgrades worth considering (noted in the 2023 survey): an ELCI (whole-boat leakage protection), a galvanic isolator, and annual cleaning/continuity checks on the green bonding system.
